Turkish counter-terrorism police have raided the offices of an aid agency on the border with Syria, in what local media described as an operation in six cities against individuals suspected of having links to al-Qaeda.

Hamas supporting Flotilla" organizers IHH who told the world they were bringing humanitarian aid to Gaza, have been raided by Turkish authorities for ties to Al Qaeda.
Please see this video:
Israel has always maintained that the IHH could have brought the aid through Israel after screening for weapons, as is done every day. The IHH instead chose to attack the soldiers boarding the ship in order to create a media stunt -- which worked. 9 people were killed because of the melee those seeking "martyrdom" cased.
SUPPORTING TERRORISTS IS NOT "#HUMANITARIAN AID". DON'T BE FOOLED AGAIN.

Lieberman Associate: Turkey Should Compensate Israel
Defiant message: Apologizing to Turkey over flotilla incident would mark capitulation to terror, close associate of Foreign Minister Lieberman says; Turkey is the one that should apologize, pay compensation, he says.
A close associate of Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Tuesday that "an apology to Turkey is like surrendering to terror," adding that Ankara should compensate Israel over the flotilla incident and not vice versa.
The remark was made in response to statements made earlier by Israeli officials that the aid offered by Turkey as part of the firefighting efforts in the Carmel opened the door for improvement of relations with Ankara.
According to the minister's close associates, from Lieberman's perspective an Israeli apology is out of the question.
"If anyone needs to apologize it's Turkey and it should pay compensation for the aid offered to terrorists and the IHH, which some European countries including Germany, consider as a terror organization," one source said.
On Monday, Turkish Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioğlu and Yosef Ciechanover, the Israeli representative to the UN committee probing Israel’s deadly raid on a Gaza-bound flotilla met for the second time in two days in a bid to revive bilateral ties, the Turkish daily Hurriyet reported.
A Turkish diplomatic source told the newspaper, "If someone extends us a friendly hand for a solution to problems, we do not leave that hand in the air."
However, earlier Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan made it clear that Turkey’s decision to send two firefighting planes to Israel to assist in battling the Carmel blaze does not attest to improved ties with the Jewish state.
This step must not be confused with other problems we have with Israel,” the Turkish PM said, repeating his regular list of demands, uttered often in the wake of the Gaza-bound flotilla affair.
“Our demands of them are known by now,” he said. “The ties between us will not improve until they officially apologize and compensate us.”

Turkey is like Iran

by Guy Bechor
The WikiLeaks documents confirmed the great American and European anxiety over the dangerous regime in power in Turkey. At this time, there are two Middle Eastern entities already controlled by Muslim Brotherhood parties: Hamas in Gaza and Erdogan in Ankara. One should not be surprised to see the friendly ties between the Turkish regime and Hamas, Iran and Hezbollah: We are dealing with political Islam movements that use any means possible in order to take power and threaten others.
In the past, Turkey served as an important pro-Western anchor in the Middle East and played a stabilizing, responsible and constructive role. Today, it constitutes a threat and jeopardizes most Arab regimes, and also Israel, being a focal point of shocks and tensions. Erdogan is threatening regional stability with his thuggish, megalomaniac behavior and with his support for axis of evil elements.
The regimes in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, the Palestinian Authority and many others are greatly disturbed by the new, aggressive player that suddenly emerged against them. While everyone knows that Iran is an enemy, the current regime in Turkey still hides behind the glory of previous Turkish regimes which were friends of the West.
We better understand that we are dealing with a hostile regime that has no intention of giving up power in Turkey.
And now came Erdogan’s latest statement in Beirut, whereby “Turkey won’t remain silent” in case of a new war between Israel and Hamas or Hezbollah and made the threat substantive. From now own, according to its own declaration, Turkey is a potential military foe of Israel and may embark on war against us.
Kick Turkey out of NATO
There is no choice: The time has come to change the global policy vis-à-vis the Turkish regime. The current state of affairs where Erdogan increasingly joins forces with the global axis of evil and provokes the Middle East, without paying a price for it, must draw to an end.
The US Congress must not approve any more advance arms deals with Turkey – for example, the F-35 stealth aircraft, which Ankara seeks. After all, these jets’ secrets may end up being transferred to Iran or used against Israel. Anyone who seeks to maintain Israel’s military advantage must not approve the sale of advanced weapons to Turkey. Meanwhile, the Turkish army at this time must be counted among Israel’s enemies, not its friends.
It’s also unthinkable that Turkey shall remain a member of NATO, as it engages in military cooperation with Iran and China, two states considered NATO enemies. According to WikiLeaks, Turkey transferred through its territory military and nuclear materials to Iran; Ankara itself reported that it engaged in joint Air Force exercises with China. How can such state, which may hand over NATO’s secrets to its enemies, be trusted? Turkey in NATO is like having Iran in NATO.
The Turkish foreign minister, who was characterized as a very dangerous man by the Americans, is of course playing dumb in Washington. However, it must be made clear to him and his masters that from now on Congress shall closely monitor Turkey. Should it reassume a responsible role in the Mideast, the US shall continue to assist it. Yet should it continue to issue threats and conduct itself thuggishly, America will consider imposing sanctions on it, as is the case with Syria.
After all, what is the difference between Turkey and Syria when both of them assist terrorists? Yet while Assad’s regime is secular and somewhat responsible (Assad asked Erdogan to calm down after the latte went wild following the flotilla affair,) the current Turkish government is a classic Muslim Brotherhood regime.
Erdogan himself misses no opportunity to engage in the wildest incitement against Israel. Europe has already changed its attitude to his regime, and today he has no chance of being accepted into the European Union. The time has come for the US Congress to also gravely address the growing Turkish threat.

Reuters Crops Out Knives, Blood From Raid Photos
American blog exposes two pictures initially issued by IHH group, later distributed by British news agency and cropped to conceal pool of blood, knives held by 'peace activists'
British news agency Reuters has cropped out knives and blood traces from at least two photos distributed by the IHH organization and showing the Navy raid on the Gaza-bound Marmara ship, the "Little Green Footballs" blog claimed.
Photos released by Turkish daily Hurriyet were distributed to foreign media by the news agencies. While Associated Press issued the photos untouched, Reuters cut the pictures thereby concealing the image of one of the boat's assailants holding a knife as well as a pool of blood.
"That’s a very interesting way to crop the photo," the blog stated. "Most people would consider that knife an important part of the context. Cropping out a knife, in a picture showing a soldier who’s apparently been stabbed, seems like a very odd editorial decision. Unless someone was trying to hide it."
In a later post, the blog shows a second photo which appeared to have been cropped as well. In this case too a knife held by one of the attackers was edited out.
"Now we have two pictures from the 'peace activists' that were cropped by someone at Reuters to remove knives in the hands of the activists, as they attempted to take soldiers hostage," the blog noted.
In response Reuters stressed that they did not intentionally edit the photos but innocently cut them in way that left the margins out. The agency also removed the photos from its server and replaced them with the pictures in their original form.
This is not the first instance in which Reuters has been found tampering with pictures. During the Second Lebanon War the news agency admitted to graphically editing a picture of Lebanon and adding in smoke above the houses shown. The Little Green Footballs blog exposed the matter in that case too.

The Captain of Turkish Ship "Marmara" Testifies: "I Tried to Stop the Preparation Two Hours Before IDF Boarded"
Israel's Foreign Secretary's Department shared video of the captain of the Turkish ship "Marmara" testifying how the "peace activists" prepared to use violence with the soldiers enforcing the blockade. He claimed, "I tried to stop the preparations for violence, but with no success. I ordered the employees of the ship to collect all the iron rods (sticks)".
While the supporters of the "peace activists" keep insisting that the IDF initiated the violence on board, Israel is offering more proof of the real intentions of the so called "peace activists".
For the first time since the flotilla incident, the department of foreign affairs disclosed the testimony of the captain of the Turkish ship, who said that he saw with his own eyes the participants of the flotilla cutting rods from the deck and converting them to iron cudgels.
The captain, Muhamet Toobel, said the preparations to confront the IDF soldiers started two hours before the first soldier came on board.
Toobel noted that in the hours before the confrontation the crew felt the stress among the activists who were gathered on the main deck. After a quick check, he understood that members of the Turkish organization IHH were responsible for creating the iron clubs. This preparation worried him, and he tried to stop it, but to no avail.
"I asked the second (sub) captain what's going on and he told me 'they cut the iron rods and put them on the bridge'. When the soldiers came on the board they (the activists) ran to the bridge and grabbed the iron billy clubs.
"Some of the iron cudgels I saw, I took and threw to the sea and others I hid.
I was not aware that there were such huge amounts of iron that were converted to weapons", further testified the captain, a Turkish citizen.
When asked if the activists prepared in advance for the confrontation, he answered "yes, that is what I saw and that is also what I have been told by members of my crew."
The documents containing the complete investigation of the captain and video testimony of another activist from the flotilla were uploaded to the website of the terror department of Israel's intelligence agency and were to be used for countering propaganda around the world.

"There is not a solitary village throughout its whole extent (valley of Jezreel, Galilea); not for thirty miles in either direction... One may ride ten miles hereabouts and not see ten human beings. For the sort of solitude to make one dreary, come to Galilee... Nazareth is forlorn... Jericho lies a mouldering ruin... Bethlehem and Bethany, in their poverty and humiliation... untenanted by any living creature... A desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds... a silent, mournful expanse... a desolation... We never saw a human being on the whole route... Hardly a tree or shrub anywhere. Even the olive tree and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil had almost deserted the country... "Then we entered the hill district, and our path lay through the clattering bed of an ancient stream, whose brawling waters have rolled away into the past, along with the fierce and turbulent race who once inhabited these savage hills. There may have been cultivation here two thousand years ago. The mountains, or huge stony mounds environing this rough path, have level ridges all the way up to their summits; on these parallel ledges there is still some verdure and soil: when water flowed here, and the country was thronged with that extraordinary population, which, according to the Sacred Histories, was crowded into the region, these mountain steps may have been gardens and vineyards, such as we see now thriving along the hills of the Rhine. Now the district is quite deserted, and you ride among what seem to be so many petrified waterfalls. We saw no animals moving among the stony brakes; scarcely even a dozen little birds in the whole course of the ride".

"The area was underpopulated and remained economically stagnant until the arrival of the first Zionist pioneers in the 1880's, who came to rebuild the Jewish land. The country had remained "The Holy Land" in the religious and historic consciousness of mankind, which associated it with the Bible and the history of the Jewish people. Jewish development of the country also attracted large numbers of other immigrants - both Jewish and Arab. The road leading from Gaza to the north was only a summer track suitable for transport by camels and carts... Houses were all of mud. No windows were anywhere to be seen... The plows used were of wood... The yields were very poor... The sanitary conditions in the village [Yabna] were horrible... Schools did not exist... The rate of infant mortality was very high... The western part, toward the sea, was almost a desert... The villages in this area were few and thinly populated. Many ruins of villages were scattered over the area, as owing to the prevalence of malaria, many villages were deserted by their inhabitants".
